Great photos! I have Mr. Scott making me an UNK now, cant wait... :D

Outstanding bro. Awesome pics. The UNK is a great design and I have my buddy Mike to thank for that.

Dang, nice work, JCL!
Is it me or does that knife baton better than any knife you have? I am always making kindling from split wood from my pile for use in a woodstove. I love the size and shape of the blade for everything. My handle is a little shorter as the original design was for a neck knife and small enough to wear under my uniform shirt.
You will grow to appreciate the usefullness of a small fixed blade instead of a folder for every day carry. Scott has also adopted the UNK as an EDC. Good luck with that gem and keep us posted with your chores.

Love that design. Any chance of a bigger version? Say 9 inches OAL with a 4 inch blade?

I forget the name of it, but I was about to buy one of Scotts larger versions, with almost those same specs. I believe it was A2. Great knife, I waited because I wanted one in 440C.

Nothing like hindsight is there? The UNK stands for Utility Neck Knife, the larger model was named in the same vein.

Scott, I'm going to need one of these UNK's sooner than I thought!

I already have made one, actually two. It's the UFK (utility field knife). The one I made is 8 1/4" overall with a 4" blade, 3 3/4" cutting edge.
