Sorry about the sloppy pictures, but I am technically challenged.
Does anyone know who made axe with the red spaces (top in top pic/bottom in bottom pic)? No markings.
12" OA, butt to top of head.
1 3/8" pole
2 5/6" edge
4 15/16" pole to edge
Top 5.25" of handle is enclosed in leather washers.
The bottom 4 1/2" of the handle is enclosed in a combination of red and black composition and leather.
Butt covered wuth 1/8" thick oval brass disk.
Convex grind.
