Good morning...
This is 13 5/8" overall, in its sheath; the blade is 8 7/8" X 11/16", saber ground, an' is integral to the tang, grip & barrel-fixing feature.
The right ricasso is marked with a 'K' beneath a three-lobed crown; the scabbard is marked twice with '4072'. I can find no other marks. The release button is dual function; barrel & sheath latches. Weight, in its scabbard, is 12 ounces.
I'm ignorant about bayonets...but think it's European, late 19th C to maybe 1920. What can y'all say about this bayonet?
I'm grateful for all your comments an' suggestions. Thanks of lookin'...Warren
