Can anyone identify the model of this benchmade? Marked ATS-34 on the back. Thanks

It looks like a Benchmade Pika Tanto II .

But it's handle is different now that I see them together.

That is the Eclipse model and it should have ATS34 steel and marked made in the USA by BM. They made 3 different sizes and was an inexpensive knife with high quality steel at the time.I had one. Mine was one of the early models and the clip insert in handle stripped out but BM fixed it. Very short turn around on service. BM has great customer service.

Did all the Eclipse models have holes in the blade? Because that one he is asking about does not.

It's a BM Ascent.

I have one without serrations or blackened blade. But the handle and blade shape show it to be an Ascent.

Mine's about eight or ten years old. It's exactly like that but has a satin blade. At that time ATS-34 was the new big knife steel. I liked the fact that it had a 3.5" blade and could be carried tip-up, that's why I bought one. A very good knife, and mine is still in great shape--just has some of the black paint worn off of the carry clip.

I can't for the life of me remember the model name, though. It may be an Ascent. Maybe the time frame may help you find the name, though. Hope it helps.

I may have been wrong on the name. Been way too many years since I had one. I traded it off for something else that I liked at the time. It was a inexpensive knife with premium steel. That was the selling point.
