Unknown Dagger need help identifying

I picked this up at sale last week and I have no idea as to its origin or age. I have always had a great interest in Swords and Daggers and enjoy this forum. Can someone help meto identify this dagger please. Thanks Connie

It appears to be a Georgian khanjali. There are various spellings but if you run an internet search for that term, you'll see a lot of information and many examples.

Wow it really does look like one. It sure has the same shape pommel and blade of course my sheath is not as decorative. Thank you so much! Any suggestion where I could sell it? I deal in antiques but not often knives or daggers. You have been very helpful.

Look around the net for present and past sales. Crisp bright pictures will help. If selling at auction, just set your reserve (what you expect to get) and off you go. Treat your research just like you would any item.
