I know that Celluloid Abalone Handled series was produced in 2000-2001. In the catalog http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/Catalogs/2003-Camillus-Catalogs.pdf and pricelist http://www.collectors-of-camillus.us/Catalogs/2001-PRICELISTs.pdf I see only 4 models - Congress #CL4551, Stockman #CL5004, Trapper #CL5762 and Lockback #CL5812.

I recently purchased on ebay this beautiful Peanut knife.
What number of this model? Why it is not in the catalog and pricelist?

That would be a CL5313. It was a long time ago and I'm not 100% sure but I want to say that it may have been an exclusive for Smokey Mountain Knife Works.

I will use this topic that would show my other knives from this series.

And my new acquisition Camillus Celluloid Abalone Stockman (#CL5004)

Vit, beautiful knife, but be careful of storing those with other knives. I saw two of the Celluloid Abalone, NOS, at an antique mall - they were off-gassing and badly damaged. I have one in the tortoise shell celluloid, so far so good - but sits by itself on a shelf. OH

This is a very dangerous series. Some time ago, I discovered that nickel-silver were darkened, and corrosion appeared on the blades.
It is very strange that Camillus decided to use celluloid in 2000, and even more so in combination with carbon steel blades.
