Unknown knife...? Morabito?

Howdy all, can anyone tell me what this is? My uncle gave it to me over 10 years ago, obviously it says Morabito, has a little tortoise on the sheath, but I have no idea nor does he.

Doing a search on Google turns up only this for me. Looks like Pascal Morabito is some sort of Parisian fashion designer.
