I got a knife that looks like a Kiffe knife but it doesn't says Kiffe on the blade, the only thing that I know about it is that the knife served in the IDF:

I was thinking Case.

Maybe not.

is there any markings at all anywhere?
There are no marking ,and I checked the pommel, the guard and I checked if maybe it was worn from the ricasso but there is no sign of a stamp.
I know that there are some Ka-Bar and Ontario and Camillus and Kiffe knives that was used in the IDF and I think that this knife is Kiffe but I just dont know.
Thank you for your help.

NikRex,

I'll go out on a limb and say that the knife is not made by any of the present and former USA makers of the MK II knife. This knife looks to be 1960/70 Japanese. It only vaguely follows the Specs of the MK II.
Case never made the F/U knife. ..only two prototypes that were auctioned off in the 1980s.
The current Case F/U is made by Ontario.
Hope this helps.

Thank you , I know that there was some Kiffe knives that made in Japan that was issued in the IDF but this knife do not have any stamps, and I'm curios what is the reason to not put a stamp on a knife

NikRex,

There are several reasons for an unmarked knife. Sterile knives for covert ops (thats the romantic reason but probably not realistic); second quality knife; purloined knife from the factory....
Hope this helps.
