Dear all,

A couple of years ago i found a knife near a small forrest in the Netherlands. It was unfortunatly broken bij some farmer equipment but in good shape. I think its finnisch or somehow from a scandinavian type. I’ll would love to know some backgrounds of this knife. Help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

kind regards Arjen Dijkman

The mystery deepens. There will be some good folks who will help you learn how to post some pics. Good people here. Looking forward to this.

Edited: I dislike auto correct, it turned good to old people, there is humor in that I guess. The older ones still know a trick or two anyway.:D:thumbsup:

It looks like a puukko type knife. Those types of knives are usually owned by enthusiasts. You could try our Dutch colleagues at Messenplatform. Who knows, you might run into the previous owner!

Edit: they might also get you in touch with someone in the country that could restore it, if you so desire.

[/ QUOTE]
That would be great. Restauration and maybe find the initial owner would be super.

Thanks for the reply's.
