I got these pictures and request for information from Jason a couple days ago which I cannot find any reference's.
I figured someone out there may be able to help. It is not part of the DS series as Jason says coming out 2 years before that series was started.
I'd like to add it to my web site and would also love the info.

"Hello,
I've been digging around the internet and have not been able to find any information on this knife. It's from the Duck Stamp collection and it's
celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first stamp, which would date it at 1984 but as far as I could find, the commemorative knives started for the 87/88 year.
It came in a plexiglass covered display case instead of a close-top case. I was just curious as to production numbers, value, and whatever further information you might know. Thanks much!
-Jason"

I've added 1 picture and links to the other 5
Like we are fond of saying.. With Schrade anything is possible.
Thanks,
Larry

Hi - I came to own one of these earlier this year (#0070) for about $35

I guess maybe Schrade did this one to celebrate the 50th anniversary and then got into the annual business later based on sales of this one?
Pretty cool - I have it displayed with all the others and get favorable comments from my friends.

Enjoy!

Finally, some results!:D

These knives weren't a part of the Duck Stamp series, but rather a standalone knife that was actually sold through Sears, around the same time as the Currier and Ives knives. It was commissioned through Fleetwood, which had, at the time, a big Duck Stamp collection program under way. This one, as you can see, commemorated the first duck stamp. I may even have some of those Fleetwood stamps around here as well...I'll scan 'em if I can find 'em.

Now for the details:

It's a 94 pattern with walnut handles, stainless blades, and bronze duck shield. The plaque is also walnut. Also has the usual brass pins, N/S bolsters, polished mark side and scotchbrite pile side blades. Knives were serial numbered 1-1500. They were to be available in mid to late 1985, so I'd imagine they may have been found in the 1985-86 Sears Christmas catalog, if not sooner (that's if they were sold through the catalog, may have been in store only). There was also a brochure and registration form.

Thanks to Eric I found some more info on this knife. It was contracted out to Camillus and was produced as Eric said in 85 for the Christmas Wish catalog. Along with the Statue of Liberty (1000) knife and the 1st Currier and Ives(1200) knife.
We need a copy of the 85 catalog to see if it was actually there.

Eric and Irv - Thanks so much for digging out that info!!
Had no idea it was from Sears. Cool little piece of Schrade trivia and can be had regularly for a very reasonable price at auction. Howie
