Hello everyone! Looking for a little help with identifying a Swiss Army knife. I acquired this knife new somewhere between 1979-1983 as a kid. I am at the age now where I am trying to gather meaningful things to pass down to my adult children with as much detail as possible. My knife looks identical to the "Salesman" 84mm model but mine is 91mm in size. Does anyone have an idea what model it might be?

The Super Tinker didn’t originally have the parcel hook
Thank you, that is very helpful to know. Do you have any recommendations where I might go to get fates of manufacture for this one? I have been searching with no luck. Thanks a ton for the insight!!

Dates....

If you post pictures of the knife, I can provide you a more accurate date than the wiki can. The problem with the wiki is that everything is done there by consensus. If you’re looking at the tang stamp page, which is probably the best tool there…it’s not as accurate as it could be. I know, because I furnished most of the pics for it, and provided most of the dates on a ‘generally accepted’ basis…opposed to my more accurate understanding of how to provide a more precise date.

Pics of both sides of all tools and top and bottom of the knife with tools closed and I can provide a date for production.

That would be much appreciated. I will take some pictures and try to figure out how to post them on here. Thank you for the willingness to help.

No problem. Figuring out the dates is a big part of my knife hobby.

There’s a how-to here suggesting to use Imgur for free to upload pics. You can post the link to an album or the individual pics.
