Unlimited Class Competition Chopper

Hi, here's my latest. The idea for this blade came up in a discussion on a forum about the Forged in fire knife or death show. I hypothesized that a longer chopper, with two edges, one thin and sharp and one axe like. With a long handle to counter the weight of the blade and also allow two handed use would be optimal. Obstacles like ice blocks, and hard wood dowels, could be smashed through with the axe edge while saving the fine edge for chickens and fish.
Anyhow, this is what I came up with. Blade is 80crv2, and after extensive testing I can say it is very tough and holds an edge quite well.

The handle-wrap looks superb, the grinds look nice....kinda reminds me of a Cloud Cutter or Jungle Honey.

Thanks! The "Cloud Cutter" was a big influence. I really liked the versatility brought by the long handle and two cutting edges.

Thanks guys, it was a fun project and I've gotten tons of great feedback. Usually if I try and make something that's not a bowie I have a really hard time selling it so I typically stick to bowies, but it's really fun to get the chance to do something different.
