Unmarked hatchet

i cant seem to find any marks on this one but it looks as if the head was painted black at some point along with some red paint on the handle .. im new at all this so im dealing with the learning curve an if this axe turns out to be a plain jane i might polish up the head an refinish the handle cause i like the curves on it

Looks like a "True Temper Tomahawk". I like it.

Here are a few hatchets from the True Temper "Dynamic" line. One "Tomahawk" and two nearly identical "Dynamic Hatchets"....

It looks like the "Dynamic" product line consisted of the Dynamic hatchet, the Tomahawk, the Tommy axe, and the Super Dynamic hammer.

It looks like there is a lighter spot on the handle, perhaps where a label was, which sometimes you can use to help date a axe or hatchet, especially if you can see any kinds of trace of a UPC or store code.

I agree, but I would think if it was it would have been marked.

It looks like a tru-temper hatchet, tomahawk style to me too. good find, I have been seeing a lot of hatchets lately that look like a certain one, but aren't marked. I like the handles on those to, they look simple but fit my hand good.
