I lost a screw from the handle of my protech mini-socom. Anyone know where Ican get one without buying a package of 50. Microtech has been no help. Ibelieve it is a #5 torx.
 
Electronics and some automotive supply stores sell the smaller fasteners in small batches.

I like electronics supply stores, though true parts stores are getting rare.
 
Try some Hobby stores.
RC models use a lot of screws that size. Flat, button head, torx, and allen.
 
Where are you located? there is a store in Santa Clara, CA (SF Bay Area) called Olander. They used to cater to the aerospace industry years ago. They have just about any type screw you need. They also sell them individually.

Do you know what thread size it is? I've got some 1-72s, 2-56s, and possibly some metrics some where. If you size it, I can sent you a couple if I have them.
