A while ago I had subscribed to BF and now I want to unsubscribe. I did the whole email unsubscribe thing and it does not seem to work. How else do I do it?

what do you mean by unsubscribe to BF? you can remove subscribed threads in your user cp.

no, sorry for the confusion. What I meant to say is that i did the whole RSS feed thing and now I get a billion messages in my personal email. that is what I meant. sorry

Go to User CP, and down the left-hand side, click on Edit Options. Go to Messaging & Notification. Under Default Thread Subscription Mode, select No email notification.

WOW does that help. I thought I was going mad because I could not figure it out. Thanks so much, now I dont have to wade through what seems like thousands of emails from BF.

I'm on automatic subscription to threads I post on and I have to go to my User CP periodically and manually delete old subscriptions I'm no longer interested in. You'd be amazed how fast they can pile up.
In fact, I think I'll go do that now ...
