Unthreaded holes?

Tried to switch the clip on my new S110V PM2, but the center screw on the right side of the butt of the handle won't screw in. The hole appears to be threaded, but it's really hard to see. I've tried the screw in the other holes, and it threads in. Issue appears to be that the screw doesn't want to get started.

Any suggestions? Don't really want to be without my brand new PM2, as its pretty flippin' awesome, but if that hole isn't threaded, it's going to need a trip back.

It's possible. I've had that happen on other models. It's also possible that there's a whisker of metal or G10 preventing the screw from going into the hole. Might try reaming it out with a wooden toothpick.

Try cleaning out the hole, wiping down the screw, and then thread the screw backwards for one turn to seat it, then turn it the correct way to tighten it down. This will keep you from cross threading a tight screw hole.

Seems to have done it. I made sure the hole was clean, lined the screw up straight, and applied a little more pressure into the hole. Went in, thanks!
