Unusal knife

A friend of mine here picked up a knife I have not heard of. It is a Smith and Wesson "First Production Run" skinner. It is in excellent condition and the leather sheath is very tidy. What would one be worth? What is it?

the knife you have is a decent hunting knife. made with 420 j2 stainless steal , with pach myer grips. they sell for around 40 - 55 dollars. its made by Tailor knife co. for S\W
