Unused or Not?

was just looking at the auction site and saw a LB 7 which was described as "Unused". it has also been customized to some extent, which the sellar is very upfront about. my question is if the knife has been altered, or as his ad says sharpened and customized is it still unused? i have my view and that is if the knife has been altered sharpened then you can't call it unused but hey i am a way amateur about this.

Customizing, like replacing the handles, I wouldn't describe as wear or use.

But sharpening = use in my book. Not the factory edge, then it's used.

It's really a matter of semantics and arbitrary word definitions. If the seller described exactly what's been done to the knife, it shouldn't be a problem.
