Here's something you don't see everyday. Not mine - just thought it was an interesting modification.

Well of course you need that! Uneven spaced leather collar studs will do anything the blade can't!

interesting conversion to a fighting knife. course a 120 would have been better as in fighting with knives, longer blades are better. not sure i get the studs part. cosmetic for fear of appearance sure, but functional? not sure without seeing the knife up close to understand how they are attached. interesting customization, thank for sharing. whos is it?

There is better stuff for a potential knife fight: a sober mind, a closed mouth, selection of where you go, and a good pair of running shoes.

I always thought a brass/copper strip on top of the old fighters was a cool looking mod. The older Buck D guard bowie knives have a powerful appeal.

well, that's one fine way to see that the point never hits the floor, ever.
sure would make a neat movie prop...

An aggressive knuckle buster probably inspired by the Cobra knife.

Saw is on the Bay.

those spike will penetrate better, but i get the point of the visual side.

understood thank you Sir. all in all in interesting conversion.

Why do I get the feeling that rode on some bikers belt. :)

Kinda looks like it would be slow to release the retention strap though.

Here's the description...

"Buck 119 with hand guard. Stag handle . Blade has never been used. Factory Sharpened. Hand guard has spikes embedded in it. Could this be one of the factory's workers knives ? Certainly one of a kind."

I wonder what the material is on the hand guard and spikes? Aluminum perhaps?
