My friend, knowing I'm somewhat a knife nut, picked this up for me on his travels to Africa. I know nothing about this knife, its obviously not practical but it is definitely unique. Can anyone tell me anything about this knife? any ideas?http://community.webshots.com/user/accordkid99

Looks like a tourist souvenir piece to me. It is hard to tell from the pics, but it looks to be carved from a single piece of wood, correct?
