I got a scan of a Camillus catalog from Tom Williams recently.
I thought some Camillus fans here on BF would like to see a few pages from it.
One of the most unusual items I have seen for sale by a knife manufacturer.

Perhaps Phil can date these for us.
I am guessing, but I think it is c. '64 or '65.

Never seen that before!!

I suspect it was just a marketing plan to attempt to sell more Camcos.

Phil,
I am amazed by some of the stuff Tom comes up with.

He sent me one of the bag/envelops that Camillus used for repairs.
I thought it was interesting. It was too long to fit my scanner when stretched out.
I had to scan it folded. A pretty ingenious invention.

Here are some pics for those who are interested.

Actually the bag is attached to a heavy duty envelop.

They could use it to log in the knife when it arrived and also mail it back when it was repaired.
Or that is how I think it could have worked.

I was hoping Phil would tell us how they were used if he was familiar with them.

To my knowledge they were never used while I was there (1979-2006).
I did see some buried in a supply closet though!
