Unusual LB7 blade

I got a 4 pin LB7 from eBay last week that is unusual. At least to me it is. The blade is very, very shiny and appears to me to have been plated vs the normal burnished look. It has 90XXXX serial number. Has anyone else run across anything like this. Thanks.

Walt. Can you post a picture? That would help a lot.
 
Here's the eBat item number: 260697482097, but you can't see how shiny it really is. If you've ever seen a nickle plated pistol, that's what it looks like. I'll dig my wife's camera out and see if I can get a decent picture.

I can't tell from the pictures. It looks like it may have been buffed, but appears in great condition, other than the sheath.
 
I've been trying to get a decent picture, but so far no luck. I'll try again tomorrow.

It looks like it has been buffed to me also. I use a buffing wheel on the knives I buy off the bay and they tend to look the same as yours.
