Was out and about with my son and daughter this afternoon (taking them to the Mall. . .recent acquired moolah was burning a hole in both of their pockets).
On the trip. . .I approached one of the many traffic lights. As I stopped. . .my daughter says (in a very excited tone), "Dad, check that out." To our immediate right was a freshly painted old building. On the side of the building. . .a "huge" replica of a multi-blade. Painted next to the replica. . ."Knife Shop."
Did an immediate righty and pulled into the parking lot on the side of the building. Went into the shop and they were still moving their stuff in and getting set up.
So. . .we began looking at all of the eye candy in the place. . .alot of productions, some customs. . .and a matching "Classic" pair (large and small).
Thing was. . .they were "Unique Graphics." To top it off. . .both are "Lefty's !"
Of course. . ."find" credit goes to my daughter !
Any whoz. . .
Never seen this design before ! The slabs have a light bronze tint to them. The graphic is a target type design in the center of the front slab. There are (if I'm not mistaken) 3 rings and a center dot on each target. The rings and dot (on each knife) have been anodized. The anodized colors are a deep blue/purplish color and bronze/light orange tint. There are 2 hash marks (horizontal to the slab) located on each side of the target design.
The small was missing the lanyard and I could tell that it had been carried (showed some very small and light character marks).
The large had the lanyard and looked as if it had not been carried at all.
Both blades were mint !
Knives were behind glass, the owners were very busy unpacking and my daughter had a "hair appointment". . .so, I wasn't able to actually pick the pieces up and perform a thorough inspection.
I plan on going back, this week, for a closer look see (not to buy. . .I'm a righty).
If any of your "Lefty's" are interested. . .let me know !
Oh. . .The owner has a full blown knife shop in the back. The owner is a maker and has 3 other makers under his wing. And have been invited to come back and watch them make some damascus and knives !
I'm hyped !
