I read a description of the Wenger Pocket Tool Chest on another forum a while back and I was intrigued because it was described as being like a Victorinox MiniChamp, but "better." Specifically, at 65mm, it's a bit larger than the Vic 58mm SAKs and is 'fatter' or rounder, making for a great grip. It also has an awl, which I've never seen on a SAK this size.

Anyhow, I saw a used Pocket TC on sale somewhere and I pulled the trigger. I need to clean it up but it's in fine shape and I look forward to road testing it as a secondary or tertiary EDC.

The PTC is a pretty good alternative to the Vic Rambler or Mini Champ. I have a regular cellidor PTC and think the only area which it loses out to on the Vic is the lack of a Phillips. I did a small mod on mine, some minor grinding to the tip of the nail cleaner to make it fit small Phillips screws better.
