Ever try chopping with a serrated?
I would try it if i could bakeSharpen you knife, then bake 4 loaves of bread. Slice them thin with your supposedly sharp knife. Absolutely amazing how fast that will dull the blade.
Nope and I wouldn't try slicing bread with a chopper.
Using the right tool for the job makes a world of difference.
Never had a problem with a properly sharpened plain edge on bread. Mirror polished high grit edges don't work as well as sub-1000 grit edges do. A nice sharp medium or coarse grit plain edge will cut much cleaner than a bread knife as well. The only problem is those really hard crust breads, best to use a serrated bread knife for those.
finally! Another Knife User With Some Common Sense. Now If Only People Would Learn To Use An Ax Instead Of Beating On Their Knives.....![]()
