hi,

i have a friend that recently baught this unusual SAK from an old knife shop...
it sizes 82mm.
Have ever seen that model?:confused:

its an older 84mm with the old shield and non waffle pattern but ribbed one scales. have the same in my collection but never saw many of those.

enjoy it but dont use it for collectors sake!

if they still have more, please let me now ;-)

It looks like a vintage Cadet II - vintage because (I think) the current-production alox models have a sort of 'basketweave' or 'criss-cross' pattern to the scales rather than the 'all vertical' scales on this knife. Looks to be in excellent shape.

(The Cadet I, which is still in production, replaces the small knife blade with a nail file/large Philips driver combo blade. The Cadet II was discontinued in 2007 or perhaps early this year.)
 
I am *so* glad you posted that. I don't have that particular knife, but I have a Vic SAK with the logo sort of worn away. I tried to fill it in based on what I could see left of the imprint and the shape of the one on your knife is what I came up with, but I thought I was wrong. Apparently, I wasn't. I'm going to have to redo a video I posted on YouTube a couple of days ago, durn it. :)
 
I have a knife with the same scales , but a file ,instead of the smaller blade.

I havent seen that shield shape on any other models.
