Unusually well Forged camp knife question

Has anyone ever seen seen this camp knife before? The maker mark is "Super Cross" with atlas holding a globe. It is a forged blade with integral bolster, and tapered tang, mounted with what appears to be elk or deer antler handles. Handle is set with two brass pins. It is extremely finely made. I am not familiar with the brand, and can find nothing on it. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I'm 99% sure it will turn out to be Japanese, early mid 60's. When the Japanese and their importers were looking to get a foothold in America they started to make these higher quality butcher style knives and hunters. The knives are very high quality, and have lines like an older knife, so that makes them popular to rehandle, as yours has. I've seen them rehandled in horn, antler, and even once in ivory. They were originally handled in wood.

An interesting aside is that certain patterns of these made by Yax/Yaxall were supposedly bought during Vietnam for CIA advisors. See -
