Been quarantined for four days with the flu. Wife and kid headed north for Tn, I was feeling about as low as could be, when the mail man brought me instant cure...my first BUSSE! Thanks to Kaos, my Steel Heart -E arrived, and hopefully the FSH is not too far behind. I fear that something way down deep inside has been awakened.....

The Sh does not look like it has the penetrator tip as does my BR, am I just missing it?

Anybody used the Spec ops survival sheath withthe SH? I have one that I was using for my RW that is MIA, but it doesn't fit as snug. Thanks -Seth

Congrats on the SH-e, sorry you've been sick though. That flu is miserable, as I was down with it a few weeks ago, took me forever to regain my strength.

If I remember correctly the SH-e's did not come standard with the PT tip. (at least the earlier ones didn't) So yours may not have it.

I'm not able to help regarding the sheath question

Anybody ever try to grind a penetrator tip? Would it be hard? Is it worth the effort?

I don't think it would be a big deal to add one, I'd choose use a file and hit each side a few times at a time.

Do it like the factory.

Have someone with a pickup let you lay over the dropped tailgate in the bed. While driving to get more beer, "lightly" touch the spine side of the tip to the road, first left, then right. Repeat as needed to ensure even "grinds"

It will take a few knives to practice and get just right, but hey, you'll create some variants in the process.

EDITED TO ADD: Oh yeh, almost forgot, you MUST yell out "WOOOHOOOO" when performing this delicate procedure, and finish with "Oh yeh baaaby, dat's what I'm talkin about".
