Up and down play?

My 2013 large 21 has quite a bit of up and down play. Is this caused from flicking it open? I've never wrist flicked it open. She just came back from a spa a month ago and that's when I noticed it. Do I need a new stop pin?
 
Do you have pictures? It could be the stop-pin, lock-bar, blade interface, bushing, etc. Also, have you taken it apart and put it back together? I imagine someone would have to flick hard enough to deform the titanium to get vertical bladeplay. My guess (completely blind and speculative) is that it has been reassembled faultily.
Post pics when you can for better speculation and advice ;)

Has not been taken apart sense coming back from CRK. Will get pics in a bit
 
Is it when the blade is fully open and the lockbar engaged ????
Does it have early/late lock up ?????
Have you inspected the lock face of the lock bar and blade ????
That's what needs to be posted in pics.
 
Doesn't seem humanly possible. Then again who knows! Sounds like you should send it back but I know waiting 5-7 weeks sucks....maybe take it apart and reassemble?

Sometimes it can be a simple loose screw. Tighten them all to finger tight.
