Not sure yet. Although the duracoat is supposedly very tough, Im sure it will show wear after much batoning/chopping etc. Will I eventually find out? who knows. I think my BK7 and 11 have my hard use needs covered for the time being. I hate to shelf such a workhorse of a knife, but the idea of this custom just embedded in my brain after seeing some of his other work...

Thanks everyone for the great comments.
The BK2 is an awesome blade and I think Kaybar is doing a great job with them and they come very sharp. This one drew some blood before I was done.

I don't really dig moding like that, but whatever turns your gears, go for it.

Great job too, looks very clean.

Looks cool...makes you not want to use it .... I had a BK7 Up armored did years back.... Desert Snake camo pattern in a Spec-ops survival sheath painted to match it was awesome...but I traded it like an idiot...

Finally got it in hand today. Looks equally as awesome up close. Anyone else toying with the idea, pull the trigger. You wont regret it.

Looks very cool. But now the real test begins how does it stand up to use and abuse. Or is this a safe queen? I'd really like to see if the paint is worthy of being on a Becker.
