So some of you guys might remember my old thread about Randy Johnson nuking my Sebenza. For reference:

(Sadly I no longer have the matching Haiku. My favorite-looking flashlight I've ever seen, but I didn't love it as a flashlight. No fault in the light, but there are sooo many options for features, etc. Still, kind of regret getting rid of it.)
Well, I decided to take the nuked Sebenza and try a different finish on it. I somewhat regret losing the "nuked" finish. I loved it, and it just doesn't wear. As a finish, it's already had the tar smacked out of it. New scratches (and I used and used and used it) just look like the finish. But alas, I only have one titanium knife. Couldn't afford another Sebenza, so I took the loss and tried something new.
And so I sent it back to Randy to try a finish I'd seen him do on a few knives. This one made a trip to me and a trip back to him (because I decided to make a few changes), and now it's on its way back to me again. If I can boast a little bit, permit me to show you some pics. These are Randy's, not mine. It's still in the mail.

Briefly, and I think these are the right details. The body is a tarnished bronze color with polished/worn high spots, with matching heat-colored hardware. The blade is a smooth satin bead blast. And I'm just super excited. Randy is so much fun to work with, and I always come back to the Sebenza as my favorite knife. Thanks for letting me share.
