Up grade my membership

Dear Sirs,
I paid for a 'basic' membership on 8/8/15.

I would like to up grade to a Gold membership.

What do I do next? My PayPal is alive and well.

You'll need to purchase the gold membership first then start a new thread here. Your basic membership will be prorated at the gold membership monthly rate.

I think I did my part correctly.

Do not understand the part of your reply that said; "my basic will be prorated".
My basic was only a week old when I went to gold.
Does that mean my gold will be paid for longer than a year?

Yes, that is typically what prorate means in many situations. Your balance of the Basic should be placed towards the Gold, Spark the site owner does all that.
