Here is another one is not out yet but ready for heat treat.
.1875" AEBL and fully cnc machined.
We wanted to make a light weight tomahawk for camping and hiking. Honestly its probably not the best chopper but is very well suited for medium duty work around campsites. Especially where weight is of concern. Some of them machined at a .050" edge thickness for a convex chopper grind and some at .025" for heavy duty knife edge. We also have the ability to hard mill the edges. The center hole is almost fully rounded and allows you choke up on it like a knife and get some different grips for light duty work. I like different and in my opinion its different than what everyone else has done.... so it has jimping on the back spine, complex radius so everything has a smooth feel and a spike that also doubles as a pry bar.
Initially we will just do a leather sheath. Mike from Black Swamp leather came up with a great design that deploys quickly and with one hand. I need to post some pictures of that. We also prototyped a CAM lock which works well but will be an expensive option ($100 maybe little more) if we move forward with it. Not sure there is demand for that sort of option?
Id estimate these will be ready for the general public in a month and we have some prototypes that are ready now. If anyone wants a prototype let me know.
I would also love to hear any feedback the community might have!
