Upcoming Small version of 0300

Just a couple minor things that I think should be done.

1. Deeper finger choil like on the 0200 for easier use of the thumb stud.

2. Maybe a thumb ramp more like the one on the 0200

3. This is actually a huge change, but I would love to see the blade Full flat ground.

What would you guys like to see.
 
How about a mini 0200 in a framelock..
Is that what your getting at? Cuz i am.

For the 0300 mini I would like a 3" blade, satin finish. If they do make the blade 3" or close to 3" it will be well worth the wait.

I second that. I think the 0300 is near perfect for a production folder but the absence of the recurve would make me so happy. Oh wait....I want it the same size as the original.
 
Wow. No love for the recurves. :( And it's not even that much of a recurve. Certainly not in the same ballpark as a Speed Bump's recurve. And my Bump is wicked sharp after an appointment with my Sharpmaker (just thowing that in, in case these diagnosed cases of recurvephobia are due to fear of sharpening :D ).
 
Sounds like you guys want a ZT version of the Stider PT. 3" blade, flat grind, no recurve, deep choil, framelock...that's a PT.
 
Wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity for the OD green scales and satin finish blade people were asking for on the 0200,at least on the introduction run?

I just want a smaller 0301 without a recurve. How is that a PT?

It would still have the same overall blade and handle shape as the current 0300's... :confused:
 
as a new member to the club i have to say that one of the things that appealed to me was the recurve. i've never been a fan of them before, but like the slight recurve on this knife. i'd also have to say that the only change should be to lose the nut on the pivot screw and make it flush with the scales. if i wanted a smaller knife i surely wouldn't have bought this beast.

I like what you said, I would add NO RECURVE.
Although you can send the blade to Krein and "fix" that. See what I did to my ZT301:

Could Krein have removed the recurve on your 0301 without taking off so much of the DLC coating? Or is that just a part of the process?

M-T minds are curious...
