Info from CJ to BCCI officer to me.

Mr. Buck did not like the CPAP mask and would not wear it. I understand but have sort of started to think mine is helping me sleep deeper and not snore. If I sleep on my back it works best. If I go to side it leaks a little and makes noise that wakes me up.

His heart is stable, his oxygen uptake is stable, fluid retention will have to be worked on with low sodium foods and limited liquids, and medical mointoring. He is really troubled by sleep problems. Your thoughts and prayers have helped enough that they will let him go home to try and get some sleep in next few days. CJ is upbeat about this situation of getting to go home where he will likely find some good sleeping. So keep him in your thoughts and prayers and maybe he can visit the office in due time. As CJ says "he really loves this place." I hope everyone has good sleep this week, you never know when you will be called to help Santa fly his sleigh, I bet those reindeer are feisty......

Thank you so much for this and all the updates. My Christmas wish is that Chuck is well and home with his family soon and for many years to come.

It's good to hear things are stable. CPAP is a hard adjustment for some folks, but for me it was a huge blessing. I've been on it 6 years now. There are forums (cpaptalk.com is one) that help new users and provide support. Thanks for the update.

I was fortunate to have had jobs where extensive respirator use was required. The CPAP was easy for me to get used to as a result. Been using one for 13 years and it has helped me greatly. Best Wishes for you Mr. Chuck Buck and a speedy recovery!

Thanks 300Bucks for the update. The Buck family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Lets hope him good health and peace thru the holidays.

Hopefully they let him go home for some sleep soon.
I spent 2 nights in the hospital recently, and it is nearly impossible to sleep there..... they make way too much noise all day and all night, and wake you up constantly, seemingly on purpose.....Gosh I was so glad to escape from that place!

Best wishes for a good nights sleep Chuck!!

God bless you Mr. Chuck, and your family. May you heal quickly, and have support from loved ones.

Get well soon and Merry Christmas to Mr. Buck. I wish he' d give that cpap a chance. After my first night on one I woke up feeling 8 feet tall and able to leap tall buildings at a single bound.

Yes, hospitals are not the place to rest. I had to have ear plugs just to get some rest there. God's speed to Mr. Buck. Hope his wife sneaks him out soon. She's the sneaky one...DM

A slow but steady recovery ain't too bad
if the mind and loved ones can accept the reality of the situation.
I m hope mr chuck buck finds the much needed rest.
More smoke and prayers sent...

With CPAP I have noticed my dreams are much deeper, not crazy or stimulating but say a walk in the woods seems like a walk in a woods....I remember sharpening several 317s of all things in one of them. Hey, I don't need 8ft just 6ft would be good enough....maybe Mr. Chuck will read our encouragements and give it a try at home.......I do know mine seals better if I shave regularly .....ha

Thanks for the latest update 300 bucks. I hope Mr. Buck gets home soon.

As for the CPAP issues, I have the dental mouth device I got from a local dentist. It works wonderfully and I sleep very well. Your jaw takes a bit to get used to it, but it lets you sleep in any position. I've used it for over a year and heartily endorse it.

God bless Chuck Buck, hopefully he will feel better soon!he is a one of a kind man we need him here on earth for many more years to come!

I just got a nice 503 for a good friend of mine.

Was nice to see the statement of faith in the box.

"If any of you are troubled or perplexed and looking for answers, may we invite you to look to Him, for God loves you."

None of us get through this life unscathed, or in the end, even alive. What a wonderful reminder of the steadfast loving kindness of God, even in times of trouble.

Just in case the earlier fire went out, I have built a bigger fire, and smoke will continue to be sent up...

While I have never met him, I have the utmost respect for him. You don't see many men like him in this day and age
