Man, I feel a bit like a stranger around here. I have definitely been out of the loop on BladeForums and other social media this year. Many of you probably know (via Instagram) that I bought a new place last December. It took me almost four months to get the new shop put together and get back to making knives. The house itself has been a major project and a serious time suck so my knifemaking has been cut back quite a bit. That said, I have managed to turn out several custom orders and produce some knives for Blade and ICCE.

I also spent another week apprenticing under ABS Mastersmith J.R. Cook in October and found time to attend a couple hammer-ins. I have an open shop/knifemakers rendezvous coming up at my place on December 2nd in cooperation with the Texas Knifemakers Guild. Busy, busy!

On the slate for next year, I am focusing on my books. I am hoping to reopen the books around April. I will also be attending the GRS engraving school in the fall.

Below are some pro photos of stuff I've completed during the afore mentioned timespan and not got around to sharing here. I would be amiss if I didn't mention that a lot of what has got me to this point came from the many people who graciously share their time and experience here on BladeForum.

Moving, learning, creating.... all of them take time. So does quality.

There is an abundance shown above. I wish you well!
