Update concerning DE OPPRESSO LIBER's For Sale thread...

For the good folks who haven't noticed, Paul's For Sale thread was temporarily locked until further review by Spark. Although Spark has ruled in favor of the continuation of this thread & has unlocked it, he has asked those of us who want to donate & sell a knife for Rachael to open our own thread for these items, and that all knives that we wish to sell for Paul's cousin be listed in the appropriate forum, i.e. Busse in Busse, production in Production, etc. He also asks that the each listing in Paul's thread that isn't Paul's be edited out, so when you have re-listed your knife or knives for the benefit of Rachael, please remember to edit out your post on his "Family Tragedy" For Sale thread.

I'm posting this here because the majority of donated knives are from this forum. DOL has put up a notice on the F/S thread as well.

Past that, I'm reopening this thread. If there are ANY problems that result from it... it's not going to be pretty. Those of you offering knives for sale, need to edit the information out of the appropriate posts and start threads for them.

Good Grief....I'm out of town for 2 days and all hell breaks loose. Freaking Amazing! Oh well....I guess it's true what they say about good intentions.

Anyhow...I guess this idea of posting individual threads with Rachael's name in it will work also.

Could someone help me out and give me Paul's Paypal address so I can have buyers route the money there. Then Paul can send it over to the bank. Is this the new idea that we're doing?

Guess my $ is no good here. Be happy to donate $250 and been waiting for some place to send it but either folks got distracted by the squabbling or simply forgot.
Yes, Solstice, it appears that a good idea turned in into, as has been said, something that cannot be adequately described without using the word "cluster". I didn't expect better but I always have hope that people might put aside their petty BS and just help someone that really needs it. Maybe next time, but there is a saying about hope, too. Pete

Seriously, keep trying to get through to DOL (I am sure he is busy with all of this) and he should give you an addy to send it to. That is exactly what I did. I'll see if I can help out. :thumbup:
