hey folks,
this is a followup to the other thread i posted on this forum:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=399936
sent my knife back to EKI on 4/17 because i couldn't engage the knife using the thumb disc for the life of me (and no one else i showed the knife to could open it, either) and got it back today. now, i admit that i may have been a slight pest by calling EKI a few times to ask about the status of my knife, but of course, it's only because i couldn't wait to get it back! as some of you may recall, i had the knife for a whole day before i had to send it back due to the problems i was having with it.
anyhow, the knife works flawlessly now. needs a bit of breaking in as it is stiff and a little grainy (nothing a few wave openings and some tuf-glide won't fix i'm sure), but i'm pretty happy to have it back. it looks as though i got a completely new handle for the knife.
here is a poorly composed photo (would have set up a box and used my DSLR, but to eager to play with knife so this will have to do) of my modest Emerson collection. enjoy!
oh, and, thanks for all the input you guys provided me with when i was struggling with my HD7!
cheers!
aaron
EDIT: while waiting for my HD7 to come back, i couldn't resist and scooped up the satin karambit in the photo. i'm hooked. will probably buy another one with BT blade really soon...
