Update: New or diffferent pocket clip for 0551

I love my ZT 0551 (I have 3) but I'd like a different pocket clip for it as my edc. I am interested in a low carry clip. Something along the lines of the XM-18 clip would be nice.
I would also like it to be affordable...$10-$15 isn't too bad. Do you think I'm asking too much? (Yes, I understand the XM clip is flush mounted) The clip on my Surefire Alpha would look nice also, if mounting one on my 0551 wasn't such a hassle, Id almost be up for it.

A Ti lowrider from STR will run you about $35 all said and done. I've got two of them -- best clips I've ever had. He's great to deal with and a very knowledgeable, friendly guy too! :thumbup:

i dont think STR does lowriders for the ZT clips (the screws are too close to each other)

maybe the OP could look into a G&G ZT grip clip?

Even though its not a low-rider, the Hawk Grip Clip is a nice alternative to a standard clip. Helps reduce wear and tear on your pockets. And at $25 its close to your price range.

Ask...and ye shall receive...whatdya think? Gonna take it to work tomorrow and drill and tap the second hole. It doesn't need it as it rests against the frame screw, so it won't turn, but I'll do it anyways.

This is a nice aftermark clip for the 0551:

It is made by STR but sold through Unique Titanium. It's not a low rider but it is longer and allows the knife to sit lower. I have a few, I like them much better than the factory clip.

That's exactly what it is...a day after I received my 0560 from Blade HQ I called ZT and ordered another clip for it. They wouldn't even let me pay for the clip...they just tossed one in an envelope and sent it to me...the audacity
