Hello Busse family! I have put off posting here, because there is not much good to offer. As many of you already know, my cancer has returned, and is being pretty aggressive this time. The treatment options available are limited at best. I am being referred to IU Med Center in Indianapolis for consultation. Since I have been on kidney dialysis for over a month, this also limits what can be done. The kidney functions, however, are improving, and if I am able to get off dialysis, we may be able to look at other chemo therapies or radiation treatment to fight this disease. The cancer has unfortunately spread throughout my abdominal area and is effecting many of my internal organs. My doctors are not very optimistic, but I know that God is in control, and that He will be glorified..... No matter what happens.

By the way, September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. I hope you will consider supporting your local cancer society!

It was truly my, and my girlfriend's pleasure to have met, and got to know you in Atlanta. You have touched our lives, and you better kick this things ass, so we can all relax and have a drink, at Blade 2010.

My prayers are with you. My aunt recently passed away from cancer and another aunt is currently battling with it. Our church is praying for you as well.

Where two or three are gathered together, there is the lord in the midst of them.


As a fellow hoosier I will be rooting for you. :)

Hey Barb, I am really glad you posted tonight, your were on my mind coming home from work today. Like others have said meeting you and Chuck at blade was such a blessing for me and I am so thankful that I was able to meet and spend time with you two. We believe in the same GOD and know that even though we dont always understand he does know what he is doing. Trust in HIM and be strong. I love you and Chuck and will continue to pray for you my sister.

I look forward to seeing you again and again at the fountain and anywhere else our paths may cross.
