Update on John Row (colobbfan)

I got an email from John's wife and this is what she said:

Hi Michael,
John's condition has somewhat stabilized. He is still unconscious and on a ventilator, but he's having fewer episodes of very low oxygen and he even was up to 95% blood oxygen today. On Tuesday the docs put in a vent tube in through his throat in place of the one going in through his mouth. He came through that surgery very well.

It's still going to be a very long haul to recovery, but I think he's finally showing signs of making progress. Please pass this along to all his knife friends.

Thanks for the update Michael. I'm glad to hear that he is doing a little better anyway. He and his whole family will be in my prayers. I went through a sudden and traumatic sickness of one of my closest relatives recently and it is a hard thing. I would have gladly traded places with her, just to keep from feeling so helpless. Keep us posted.
