Ok so idk if you guy remember when i maid a thread about my large micarta sebenza and the blade play that it has and the up/down.. Anyway well i thought it was the bushing 100% so i got the bushing in tried it out and same crap!! Anyway i took apart both of my sebenza and when i was putting the blades back i put the Insigno blade by accident and it locked up at 50% and blade was centered so i checked for up/down and that was gone checked for side to side andddd still there so i called CRK and told them about the up/down play and he said the lock bar might be damaged so i checked the and lock bar has a little dent in it so yeah and the side to side if from the hole for the bushing is too big so yeah i bought this knife for 390 from robbertk plus didn't know the warranty was gone soon yeah idk what to do.

isnt it a lifetime warranty? send it into CRK.

I don't believe the warranty covers misuse or abuse. The fact he doesn't know what exactly happened may make it hard to prove that the damage is from normal wear and tear. It might still be worth letting CRK take a look.

If it's not particularly special or not replaceable, you should try and get a refund. If not... You might as well send it in. You might end up paying for the scale replacement. Better than nothing.

idk what to do.

That wear is normal on the lockbar. If it was mangled it would look different.

Send the knife to CRK, have them refurbish it, pay the costs and be done with it. At this point this knife is a lost cause for you and has been giving you one issue on top of the other since 16 February this year.

i saw on Youtube somewhere that a buyer got a CRK 21 with misalligned blade from a seller. Sent it in, one month later got it back brand spankign new. They replaced the stop pin that was the culrpit (which i could only assume was damaged from heavy flicking) and only charged for new washers, like 3 bux in all. It's something you should call CRK and check it out.

edit: actually, it... couuuuld be the stop-pin? it's not too far fetched for me to see up and down blade play if the stop pin has been damaged from heavy flicking.

Alright I'll try my other stop pin and see if that fix it.

^^^ This.

Your knife is messed up. Stop trying to fix it yourself. Send it to CRK. Pay what you need to pay to make it right if that's what they require.

It's impossible for me to fix. And I'm not going to pay to fix the knife when I bought it for 400 not going to spent extra 160 for blade might as well get a new sebenza
