These pups have just started prodution. Case had one that was finished at their booth and they were kind enough to let me take a close peek.

To say the least I am excited about it, I think it is the finest effort so far of all the Case/Bose collaborations (might be a little prejudice here since whittlers are one of my top two favorite patterns.) Without reservation it is the most challenging pattern so far in the series from a production standpoint.

The master blade is a honker as Danbo would say. The tang is the widest of any small slipjoint that I have seen. The lockup on it is as solid as a rock. The action on the opposing smaller blades was also impressive. The fit and finish is in line with the previous years collaborations (all of mine were nothing short of excellent other than the blade edge burrs on my slimline trapper.)

I will be in touch soon with those who have contacted me regarding our group order of this knife. Hopefully they will start hitting the street within the next month.

Thanks for the update. Make sure I'm still on the list, please. I too got to handle several of the case lbw's as well as the tony bose customs, AND an original lbw from way back when. The case version is indeed a very fine piece of work. Gus, next year for sure!!
