In my first post, I lamented on the fact that I was being drawn into the vortex I now refer to as my Hog addiction. Now I am standing ankle deep in quagmire and wondering what happened to my discretionary income.
I have had a few weekends to take my new Busses in to the field to see how they stack up to their reputation. So far so good. My only less than enthusiastic comment would be about the sharpness of the blades I have received so far. I realize that sharpness is a subjective term. My person definition for sharpness borders on obsessive, so take this with a grain of salt. Of the four Busses I now own, none were as sharp as I might have hoped. Not a big issue. The IFNI sharpened very well. I was actually impressed with how sharp you could get these predominately thick blades. I have bald spots on my left arm and leg to prove it.
Could not be happier with my new knives. Here are some pictures of my Busses. Believe me when I say that my photography skills do NOT do these knifes justice.
