Howdy,

I've been intensely busy with school. I will be done mid december and I can't believe the time is going so fast. Things are going pretty well--but VERY hectic with all the school deadlines rolling into place.

How busy: been fishing ONCE all season. Not ONE trip shooting anywhere. Only ONE trip to chop with khuks in MANY months...:(

Kids are fine, dog is old..wife is still here ;-)

(I'm working on my brevity...pretty good eh;) )

It's nice to hear from you. I hope you remembered to pack your snowshoes.

I've missed your heart and spiritualty, and all the fun you cause. But hey, I'm sure some fat slob needs your massage more than us?!!! (joke)

Always well met, glad your life is marching along on the Path.

Thanks Munk. That means a lot to me.

:D

and Thanks for this I needed a PM laugh as Uncle Bill would say. Yep the fat slobs...er..clients, seem to be liking my work so far:D

Actually I have been blessed with amazing people to work on..some beautiful souls.

Discovered an entire realm of energy work on the human body that I'd thought was crap not too long ago...I've been proven wrong over and over since then. Amazing stuff.

[It's nice to hear from you. I hope you remembered to pack your snowshoes.

Thanks N2S:) No kiddding! did you hear about Buffalo NY?! But then again Buffalo always gets slammed.

Hi Rob, Careful about that "Fat Slob" stuff....I don't need therapy but know its value....and kinda fit that "tendancy toward overweight" description.....
By any chance do you have a Dad named Arthur who is one of the finest Smallmouth Bass Guides to ever take folks fly fishing on the Penobscot?
If so, "Hi".
If not, "Hi Anyhow"

John, all kidding aside. I honestly would be the last person to EVER describe anyone that way...especially a client. I was just playing with Munk a bit. I have struggled since childhood with weight issues myself and I understand at a very raw and personal level what that does to someone's self image.

I took "fat slob" in a non-literal sense in Munk's comments. I think that is how he intended it...

munk the skunk is responsible for the 'fat slob' phrase being introduced and it is used only in the context of a joke.

Rob, I think it is great you are there to notice a client's heart or soul. Like a good town barber, they will keep coming back to the man who acknowledges their humanity, especially in this world of, "Next Please."

I think you're right. The bar is set rather low I'm afraid. works to my advantage. Just like when i lived in Maui. Employers were floored that I showed up on time every day and never left them in the lurch even when "surf was up" like most of their former employees:D
