Update on where we are with John Cade aka numerous personalities.

Gang we all like it here and have the greatest respect for Miss Yangdu and we don't want to see things change methinks.
With that in mind and because of Miss Yangdu's forgiving nature and it being part of who she is Miss Yangdu has agreed to give John Cade One Week to pay up or I post the below with all the parts filled in.
John Cade canceled his order which would have been a few hundred dollars and is going to pay for the Seax he got, which is for a whole lot less.

For the record Miss Yangdu has given me no information I have that I will post if necessary. I have gleaned it from searches on the Internet and the use of public yellow pages.


Here is the address John Cade posted on the HI Forum long ago himself so it became public Domain. I’m reasonably sure he still lives there. It is perfectly legal to post this as he has brought it all on himself by posting it hemself.

I have the complete post in a draft ready to post if John Cade doesn't pay up by next Friday evening.


So gang it is Miss Yangdu's wishes that I not post John Cade's information that he himself has made public.
Miss Yangdu is an honorable Lady and once again has shown her true forgiving nature.

Another thing that will get this information posted is if John Cade ever comes back into these forums again under any name.
I have also shared this information with Munk so that if something should happen to me it will still be posted.
Munk has agreed, actually Munk, like me, wanted to go ahead and post it but like me he gave in to the wishes of Miss Yangdu.

Thanks for being all over this Yvsa! I hope for the sake of Yangdu and the forum that it all works out. Especially for HI's bankbook. HI isn't Buck Knives, and it's only going to take a few instances like this to drive up prices for everyone. Yangdu can't be expected to just eat costs like this. And with the price of fuel the way it is, I can't imagine that her shipping costs have not been impacted.

I can tell you though, that this has worked out for me in one respect: I went for a great YBB/DOTD the other day and was second in emailing Yangdu by a few minutes to Nep, who got in ahead of me. I was putting it down to just bad luck and moving on, but then because he had not paid for several purchases, Yangdu allowed me as runner up to purchase the knife. Works for me! Get enough late / no pay folks in there and what are you going to do?

The bottom line is that Uncle Bill got so tired of this stuff that he said he would no longer ship anything until payment was received, at least from new folks who had not yet established a track record. Trust some folks you don't know yet in business and I'm afraid that this is going to happen.

However I'm proud to say that Uncle Bill trusted me with much credit at times last year, and I never let him down.

But, you never know what is going to happen, and I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised with news that restitution has been made in full.

I wouldn't want that n-d-n trackin' me fer sure. :eek: That's why I play it straight around the cantina, and send checks to Madam Yangdu ASAP. That, and the guys with the large caliber rifles.

do the right thing and come clean. stand up to whatever demons you have and be a man. at the very least, you owe it to yourself.

this ain't no way to live.
 
Two things?

1. Time to lock this thread? Maybe delete the personal info references? We don't need any bashing.

2. Is it possible to delete his posts to the Bill and Rusty thread? I was kind of offended when he first posted them. Now, I'm a bit out-raged. It ill suits me.

Good points on both counts Kismet. I'm glad he settled up. But maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt as Uncle Bill probably would have done, and assume that maybe he just hit a rough financial spot as we all do from time to time.

I'd like to think that he would have made things right even without the scrutiny this thread generated. I say we let it go and leave it between him and Yangdu as far as future dealings go, and leave off any hits or negative speculation unless it ends up being a recurring problem.

Besides, we always have Yvsa in reserve if needed in the future. (-;

No Norm...it's nice of you to think that way, but there is *no* room for doubt with Cade. He *was* stealing from a widow. He *did* purposely order without intending to pay. He has averted *legal* retribution by paying for the knife.

It's fine if the Moderators want to clean up the mess he made here and delete his name, address, phone number and place of employment...I have the information if it's needed at any time the SOB ever comes back again.

Second what Nasty said. For your sake Cade, I sincerely hope you go away and stay away... for good this time. This was a new low and will not be tolerated. :mad:
 
An' if that don't work, Yvsa, e-mail me and I'll send Nunzio, Luca and Tony over to pay a visit to dis Cade bum, sorta have little heart-to-heart chat, point out the error of his ways as it were, ya know what I mean?

Yep, time to lock it. And due to the numerous requests I will also delete Cade's post in the Memorial thread for UB and Rusty.

Thanks for the help guys but time to let it go unless he shows up again and if he ever does that's it. No more mercy. He has been shown enough and it's always been Cade's choice to be a troll.
