It's a shame that my original thread got closed, although I don't blame Jimmer for closing it. There was a lot of good info and posts in there. Anyways, as promised, Jimmer called me immediately and we spoke for a while. He was extremely helpful, going so far as to offer to replace my 0560. He took it upon himself to hand pick a replacement 0560 and hand it off to their warrantee services supervisor to ship to me. I tracked it through UPS to my front door, which was yesterday (Friday the 15th). I tore the box open and inspected as usual. I gotta say Jimmer sent me a winner!!!

I never had a doubt that this would end well. Jimmer bent over backwards to help me when I never really asked for any help. In my original thread I stated I was satisfied with my 0560 that I got back from warrantee. It wasn't perfect but I could live with it. I guess that didn't sit well with Jimmer (to his credit). The crazy thing is they sent me a NEW 0560 and I hadn't even sent mine back yet! Being late in the day and Friday I couldn't ship out my 0560, but I will first thing Monday Morning.

So bottom line, I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Jimmer and the warrantee services supervisor Jeremy Vanroyce. With all the negative threads popping up lately I am happily posting this as a big fat positive!!!

I should have talked to jimmer about my knives I sent in maybe they would have got it right first time
But I'm giving them another chance nobody is perfect but if they don't take care the second time around my ZT collection will be in the exchange lol not really but it is a possibility

I looked through several of each of my dealer's new 0560/0561's last year, s/n <0200. Uniformity personified. I selected an unopened 0561. When I got home with it, it proved to be more perfect. Okay, it was just like the others - but... it was mine!

I regret that the OP had troubles and I am happy for him that jimmer championed his cause. Great knife!

Never a doubt.

We have to remember, that KAI/ZT ships out thousands, and thousands of knives that are problem free. The vast majority of the folks that get them do not post how great they are, and that they are just fine out of the box. We typically, only here of the comparatively, extremely small sample of problem knives or PERCEIVED problem knives. (Not saying the OP's knife issues were perceived or not, as it really doesn't matter) It is a testament to a company when they bend over backwards to please people on their dime.

Nice job KAI.

Jimmer is a stand-up Guy. When I had problems with a 560 and posted here he helped me too. His help was much appreciated.
