update to the special project

I just got a check from a forum member today and that, with a friendly email reminder from another person, was a good excuse to go ahead and wrap up the special project fund we started way back when.

A paypal payment has been sent to Yangdu and hopefully will go toward her plane ticket to Nepal.

I can't remember who all gave payment, and frankly, don't have the energy to look it all up. Hopefully I'll get Yangdu to take a look at this thread, so if you contributed, please reply with your well-wishes here.
