Here's a quick look at what's going on in the shop!

I have a load more knives going too! 5 tantos and 22 Backpackers nearly complete... two groups of folders just started!

Tantos are almost done?! Sweet! Thanks for the update!

I owe you guys some tanto pics!

They are 100% ground to a clean satin finish, signing is next... I'm waiting on the compressor parts so I can blast the tang and scale material for maximum adhesion during glue up. I almost glued them up after a 40 grit sanding but I think a good sand blast will be even better.

I'm hoping for the parts any day now... as soon as I get them my focus will be the tantos and S7 recurves. The tantos were ready to glue up and I started blasting them when the compressor went out, sorry for the huge delay guys! 2 of the recurves are going overseas but hopefully with their owners, I am highly motivated to finish them soon! :D

Thanks for the update, Daniel! No sweat on the time, you're still faster than anyone I've dealt with. Everything looks amazing, I hope I'll be able to grab a folder in the future. Are all the recurves spoken for? Get some rest, enjoy the day.

Thanks! The recurves are spoken for but you get first dibs if you want.

Much appreciated! I've been cooking some ribs today... :D

Great knives...and TOOL. What a combo!

Thanks! Tool is always good work music.

Awesome! Yeah man if you have a sec I'd love to see how you chose to execute the satin finish on these. I'm glad we went with that instead of stone wash.

I took them to a clean 600 grit then used a very fine scotchbrite belt for the final satin. I like to hand rub the flats afterwards to keep everything crisp.

Thanks!

Thanks, Daniel.
I always like these.

Thanks Rolf! :D

Awesome! That'll look amazing with the polished ironwood!
