A few weeks ago I posted a question asking for input on a decent non-threating knife for EDC carry into my office. I also have been reading a few of the threads dealing with sheeple friendly knives and what made them qualify as such (non-assist opening, blade length, etc.). Put all that info together and made what I think is a good decision.

I ordered a Blade-Tech Mouse Lite. Came today. For around $30 bucks it is a very nice knife. Compared it to my wife's chive (which I could never carry since it is too small for me to hold just wants to pop out of my hand when I open it) it is much more "usable". 440C steel should be fine for an office knife. Fit and finish are very decent for a $30 knive - locks up tight. Should last me many many years. Based on the this small knife, I am thinking about buying another BladeTech.

Anyway, thanks for all the information. This is a great forum.

The Mouse is currently my favorite coat/ vest/ jacket pocket carry. It is in close reach should you need a blade quickly. I switch between carrying it in folded position or locked open position in a kydex neck sheath. This entire setup rides comfortably- almost weightless. And is quick to draw after thumbing off the kydex sheath. You an easily switch it back to neck carry in a few seconds. I have found a few of them had blade edges that were a bit uneven and on the thick side. I just thin them out with a diamond benchstone. Other than that, the mouse is an excellent small folder.
